How to style a lace dress

I love when I see celebrities wearing transparent or lace dresses. However, it can be a little intimidating specially because I don’t feel comfortable showing to much skin. I decided I was going to take this fashion challenge and make it work in a way I would feel comfortable. I found this beige lace dress at Zara but I found other beautiful styles at other retail stores that would look amazing as well. I decided to wear denim knee shorts and a cute crop top under this dress. I have to say I loved this outfit for its chic and fun style. Since I was taking a walk down Time Square I had to wear comfortable shoes and there are no better flats for me than my Valentino studded jelly sandals. They never wear out I have these for such a long time and they always look fav.
