Oversized Barbie and Jem Denim Jackets

It has always been my dream to have a matching denim jacket with my daughter. I decided that it would be an amazing idea to recreate my favorite child hood doll Barbie and Jem. I couldn’t have given this memorable moment to no other than House of Lola. She is so talented and she really made our little girl’s 8th birthday party out of this world. We chose oversized jackets from Gap and my mother did some alterations to the jacket by doing ruched sleeves that really gave it a fashion statement. We also had to buy two size up because we needed the jacket to fit oversized and to make ruched sleeves we needed longer sleeves. Also my very talented sister in law did the denim skirt with pink tulle and added some jewel.
